"Well, shit." You breathed. Everything happened in slow motion in your eyes, you watched as the electricity traveled through wires from the ceiling and made their way to their destination. You.
'Kasha, don't kill me yet. I have some business I need to take care of after this.' Smirking, you met the current head on.

The pain was something you've never felt before in your whole life. White flashes came across your eyes; you could feel your blood literally boiling inside of you from the excessive heat and electrical waves, your body contorting itself into impossible angles, your mouth was wide open but you didn't utter a sound, only hearing the chair do its work.

This went on for 2 minutes flat. A normal human would have immediately died judging by how high the voltage was. The doctors cautiously left the room and approached you steadily. Your body was limp, your shoulders slumped and head down; you could still feel the electricity coursing through your veins. A doctor pulled out a stethoscope and heedfully pressed it your chest. "H-her heart…. I-it's still beating!" They all stared in awe and wondered as to how you were still living.

'F-fuck… can't even think straight…' Your head was pounding, you knew you were in serious conditions and were on the verge of a coma, 'God d-dammit, my organs are sc-screwed up.'

"Lets test it again." Your eyes widened, 'no… d-don't..' As if cued on time you hear a loud bang and a bunch of yelling coming from the other side of the door that led to the main room.

Suddenly a man burst in yelling, "Sir! A group of men have broke into the lab and are now destroying all the data and everything!" All heads snapped and laid eyes on the man that just interrupted, they hurriedly ran out the door. 'Thank god…' Hearing more yelling and things explode, you slowly averted your eyes over to the door. 'Who in the hell would…?' Your muscles immediately tensed as if another jolt of electricity was sent through you 'I-it couldn't be.'

You jumped a little when you heard the door be kicked open and knocked off its hinges. "No! You can't go in th-!" CRACK! Somebody was preventing someone else from entering this room and sounded as if he got a nice blow to the face with something metallic, like a pipe.

"[_____]" Ivan said breathlessly, he slowly got down on one knee to see your face,

"[_____]? Are you all right?" Ivan didn't know how to react, seeing you in such a state was mortifying. He gently put a hand on your shoulder and gave it a little shake, "Please answer me."

There was a long silence, Ivan grew anxious, and lifted his hand to give you another shake. "Why?" Ivan froze, "Why are you here?" You asked.

"I-We came to rescue you." He replied.

"We?"

"Yes, the Baltics, Allies, and Axis's."

Your fists clenched into tight balls, you gnashed your teeth, "WHY DID YOU BRING THEM?!" You yelled, cutting Ivan off. "Do you have any what they would do to you if they found out you guys are countries?!" With your head still lowered, you trembled with anger, "Idiot. Idiot, idiot, idiot." You said, repeating yourself over and over. Ivan was speechless, were you angry with him…?

You felt something cold and wet fall down your face; you opened your eyes to find you were crying. "Wh-what? Why am I…. crying?" It's been so long since you've cried; the
feeling was drastically unfamiliar to you.

Ivan pulled you into his arms, "It's alright [____], you're safe now." You relaxed a little but continued to be stiff.

"No, Ivan, it would have been better, if we… if we never meet." Ivan's eyes expanded in shock. "You would not have to put yourself and the others in such danger if I was not here," you proceeded, "it's would be in your best interest to forget about me. You know? Move on and be happie-!" You were cut off by the intensity of Ivan's hug.

"Stop talking like that." He spoke in a hushed tone. "I couldn't be more happy than I've been in the past 6 months. You, [_____], have given me hope. Hope that I won't have to be alone anymore, hope that I can actually feel warm inside, and hope, of love." As he said the last word, he pulled his head back and crashed his lips into yours.

Taken back by the kiss you didn't dare move, Ivan drew back and searched your face for an answer, "Well what do you know Ivan." You chuckled. "It seems I've fallen in love with a creep."

Ivan smiled and undid the straps on your wrists tying to you to the chair, lifting you up and carrying your bridal-style to the door. You face was bright red by now; Ivan walked out the doorframe and showed you the chaos that went on outside the room.

You stared in astonishment at all the nations kicking ass in the lab, America and Germany were beating the shit out of every scientist that approached them, China was using his wok, Japan had his trusty katana at hand, the Baltics were nervously running around and collecting papers, England and France was simply dodging blows and knocking doctors to the ground, and Italy was, well he was being Italy and waving a white flag.

"How fun, da?" Ivan said with his trademark smile.

        "Ha, this is certainly unexpected."





You've been asleep for five days now; nations came and went to visit you during visiting hours at the hospital. Ivan stayed by your side everyday, and although it was sweet, it was also kind of creepy how he stared at you nonstop.

Ivan sighed, "Oh, [_____], when will you wake up? I have been waiting long enough, da?" Suddenly, as if you heard him, your eyes peeled open, surveying your backdrop, you leapt up and attempted to pull out the IV in your arm.

Another pair of large, gloved hands came into your line of vision; placing them on your own you looked up and saw Ivan's face looking at you. "I-Ivan, hey." You said shakily, taking a second look at the room, you mentally facepalmed. "Sorry, 'bout that." As you climbed back into the hospital bed Ivan gave you a warm smile.

"It's been so long, I was beginning to worry!" He exclaimed.

"Worry about what? It's not like I'm gonna die or anything." You muttered. Taking a deep breath, you sighed. "How long was I out?"

"Five almost six days." Ivan replied.

"Mm, okay." Your eyebrows knitted together and you looked Ivan in the eyes. "I'm still mad though, I can't believe you would put those countries' health at risk."

Ivan lowered his head, "What was I supposed to do?" his voice came out like acid.
"Leave you behind and let those people treat you like shit?" You flinched; you knew Ivan was scary but not like this.

"Yeah, that's exactly what I meant." Your own voice coming out just as viciously, out of nowhere Ivan grabbed your shoulders and made you look him in the eye.

"I won't allow it." He growled.

"Ivan! What is with you? Let me go at once!" You squirmed in his grasp. Ivan bent down and touched your forehead with his.

"I won't allow it," he repeated.

You gnashed your teeth together, "Why? Why do you even care…?" Pushing your head into Ivan's, you said, "Nobody has ever cared about my well being before. How are you any different than them? How do I know you won't run off the next chance you get?" Your hands were shaking from all the bottled up emotions, it was hard to control yourself from snapping Ivan in two, if that were possible.

"Is that what you're worried about?" Ivan said, "Don't forget little one, I also have nowhere to go."

"You don't say." You exhaled and lied back down; waking up from a coma was physically and mentally straining.
Ivan stood up, "I'll go get you some water."

"Yeah, that'd be nice, thank-!" You were stopped short as Ivan bent and planted a soft kiss on your lips. "Eh… EHHH?!??" You face turned a vibrant red and you pulled a hand up to your face, "Wh-what was th-that?!" You stuttered.

"Hm?" Ivan smiled and tilted his head a little making his child-like features stand out more than usual, "I love you and you love me so I'm simply expressing my feelings to you through actions."

"Please resist that urge next time."

Ivan opened his eyes and looked at you, "Why?" he smiled, "You said you had fallen in love with me so I see no problem, da?"

"I didn't say I had fallen in love with you, I said I had fallen in love with a creep. For all you know, that could be… uh… Katsu?" You grimaced at that 'comeback.'

An evil aura surrounded Ivan as he took out his pipe, "Well then I'll gladly have him removed from this world, kolkolkolkolkolkolkol…."

"I-I was just kidding." You held up your hands in defense. "And I think I can get the water myself." You got up and headed for the door only to be blocked by Ivan.

"Oh, so it was a joke, da? So that means you do love me." He said.

"Ivan, this is not the time, I need water." You tried to push past him by failed. "Ivan." You said in a warning tone.

"Just say, 'I love you' and I'll move." He tilted his head to the left and then to the right as if he were listening to a nursery rhyme. Squinting at him, you stubbornly said nothing and stood your ground. "Say it~!" He sang. "It would be even better if you said it in Russian too!"

"No."

"Say it~!"

"Not happening."

"Say it~!"

"I don't think so."

"Say it~!"

"Never."

"Say i-!" The door sliding open behind him interrupted Ivan.

"U-um, Mr. R-Russia? Why are you blocking the way to [____]'s room?" You poked your head out from in front of Russia.

"Oh! Lithuania, hey." Toris and the other two Baltics stood outside your room, each bearing flowers from their home country.

"Ah, [_____]! I'm glad to see you've recovered. Hope you're feeling well." He said; Ivan side stepped from the door and smiled.

"Lithuania, how nice of you." He said clearly meaning the flowers.

"Yeah, you really didn't have to, but you can put them in one of the vases." You gestured to all glasses full of sunflowers and other varieties of plants.

"Just keep them away from the Venus fly trap America so kindly brought." Ivan advised.

"U-uh, yes sir." They filed into the room and placed their gifts in separate containers.

"Okay, I'm going to go get some water. Just stay here for now." You jogged out the room,
'Sorry Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, bear with Ivan for just a little bit'.

"Kolkolkolkolkolkol….." Ivan started emitting his rather terrifying vibe yet again causing all three Baltics to openly tremble in fear.
"M-M-Mr. R-Russia, i-is there so-something wrong?" Toris asked bravely.

"Yes indeed there is something wrong." Ivan walked over to Toris, placing a hand under his chin and forcing Toris to stare into his eyes. "[_____] was just about to say she loves me until you guys so rudely interrupted. What punishment do you think is fitting for such behavior?"

Eduard and Ravis shook with fear behind Toris, Ravis blatantly weeping. "M-Mr. R-R-Russia, I-I already t-told you. W-we belong to P-Poland and you c-can't do a-anything to us, l-legally!" Toris courageously spoke; Ivan continued to tower over all three of them.

"Oi! I'm back!" You rushed into the room with a cup of water in your hand to find your guests quavering in the corner and Ivan happily sitting on the bed playing with a sunflower. All in all, it was a very strange scene.

"Welcome back little one, the Baltics were just leaving, da?" They all bobbed their heads in unison and ran past you bidding their farewells hastily.

"Um okay. See you guys later." You soon got settled back in your bed after having to move Ivan off it. 'Crap, I should not have left them alone with Ivan.'

"Now, [_____], where were we?" Ivan put down the sunflower and walked to your bedside. "I do believe you were about say something along the lines of, 'I love you', da?"

"Shit…" You grumbled, "Ivan, you know I'm not good with these things." You began but again were cut short by Ivan's lips. Your mind went blank, you didn't know what to do other then kiss back.

Ivan pulled back, "I was right! You are hopelessly in love with me."

"Could you get anymore vain?!" You scowled and looked out the window, 'It's weird having it be this peaceful'. A cold air filled the room immediately canceling out your thoughts. 'Ah, he's back.'

Turning your head ever so slightly, you saw Katsu standing in the doorway. "It's nice to see you again, [____]."
